Bonnie’s custom rabbit figurine was created to capture the fluffy coat, tiny face and playful personality that make this little Lionhead rabbit so recognisable.
Bonnie is a two-year-old Lionhead rabbit from England.
She may be small, but she has a huge personality. Her owner describes her as playful, cheeky and full of character — the kind of little companion who brings plenty of fun and happiness into the home.
One of the first things you notice about Bonnie is her beautiful, long, dark fur.
Her tiny face is almost hidden beneath all that fluff, with two little ears peeking out from the top.
When she sits still, she looks like a tiny ball of fur, but anyone who knows her knows there is a curious, playful and slightly mischievous personality underneath.
From a Photo to Bonnie’s Custom Rabbit Figurine
Bonnie’s owner first discovered Kithkins through social media.
She saw how we create custom pet figurines from photographs, turning much-loved pets into detailed 3D pet sculptures that can be held, displayed and treasured at home.
After seeing our work, she got in touch and asked us to create a custom rabbit figurine of Bonnie.
For us, creating Bonnie wasn’t simply about making a sculpture of a dark-coloured Lionhead rabbit.
We wanted it to look like Bonnie.
We carefully studied the photographs her owner provided, paying close attention to the way her long, dark fur falls around her body, her tiny face, her fluffy silhouette and, of course, those two little ears appearing through all that fur.
These small details are what make a personalised pet sculpture feel truly personal.
Because when an owner looks at their pet, they don’t simply see “a rabbit”.
They see Bonnie.
“I Absolutely Love It”
When Bonnie’s owner received her finished figurine, she told us how much she loved it.
And the story didn’t end with Bonnie.
After seeing her figurine, she came back to us and ordered more custom pet figurines, this time for another rabbit and a guinea pig in the family.
Then her sister decided to have one made too, choosing a custom cat figurine of her own much-loved pet.
What began with one little sculpture of Bonnie gradually became a collection of rabbits, a guinea pig and a cat, each created individually from photographs.
We love stories like this because they remind us that a personalised pet figurine is often much more than something to put on a shelf.
Every pet has a different face, a different personality and their own little habits.
They have favourite places around the house, funny routines and their own ways of asking for attention or showing affection.
They aren’t simply pets living in the house.
They are part of the family.
